Texas Tortilla Factory

Genealogy

November 26, 2007 by mike

Welcome.

This Genealogy would not have been possible to place on the Texas Tortilla Factory web site without all the years of research and digging through Court House Records, writing to relatives for information, interviewing of countless relatives, and the compiling of information into a meaningful whole, all of which was done by my oldest Brother Kenneth C. Vauthier.

( Click the Picture to view the Family Genealogy. Last Update : Dec. 20, 2007 )

I have recently added information for Clines, Choats, Raglands, and Goodnights to our Genealogy.

I continue to search for more information on Vauthier Family Name, and varients there of, and although I have been able to find a lot of information on the roots and Ancestory .coms, and even the French Genealogie.com, for Vauthier's, I can not establish any direct links. By the way there are quite a few Vauthier's in Switzerland too. I will keep trying and continue to post updates on the progress here when I find some links.

Best for Now,
Mike

Relative Paths

Intresting Paths. In some cases our acestors lived a few counties apart, not realising the ultimate merger of their families.

Historical Genealogy Timeline

NOTICE : NEW TIMELINE INTERFACE IN WORK ... Currently from 1310 through 1861.

Interesting Times. A Combination of Historical Timeline of the World and a time line of Our Relatives Birth, Marriage, Death and Military Events Timeline.

"Time without notice doesn't take much time to hurry by me...."
from a Song by John Denver, titled "Poems, and Prayers, and Promises"

Our Family's Historical Genealogy Timeline.

NOTES:

1. Make sure your Javascript capabilities are turned on in your Browsers Preferences.

2. It may take a few seconds to load the first time around, depending on your connection speed, as the original text document was over 120 pages, and that was without the events from our Genealogy.

Thanks for the Contributions ...

December 19, 2007 by mike

Since its intial publishing to the web other relatives have contributed to our Collective Genealogy, Notable Contributions have came from :

Donnie Boucher, of College Station, Texas, who provided genealogy information and numerous photos for the Boucher side of the Family Tree, and identification for individuals within the Photo Albums.

Rachel Jancke of Seattle, Washington, who was prompted by her son Brandon's school project to find out more about his and her Family Tree.

Rachel and Brandon are also my cousins and decendants of my Aunt Maurine, my Dad's Sister, and her daugher's Lamoyne and Estaline McAdams, whom we had minimal contact with until now.

Ransom Edgar Amos my Cousin "Eddie", who has recently contacted me and gave me some corrections and update information on his Family. He is the son of my Uncle Ransom and Aunt Thelma (Vauthier) Amos.

Thanks to the guys at Synium Software for creating Mac Family Tree 4 which I use to build our Genealogy. Although I have upgraded and tested their version 5 of MacFamily Tree, it has not been upgraded to the user friendlness of version 4.5.

Thanks to All for visiting the "Texas Tortilla Factory". I do welcome input from other members of my extended Family, as new members come on board and to fill in holes in the database.

Please email me at :

Of course comments alone, too are always welcome.

Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy the genealogy, by clicking on the thumbnail to the right, not to mention the photos on the Photos Page.
