Welcome.
This Genealogy would not have been possible to place on the
Texas Tortilla Factory web site without all the years of research and
digging through Court House Records, writing to relatives for information,
interviewing of countless relatives, and the compiling of information into
a meaningful whole, all of which was done by my oldest Brother
Kenneth C. Vauthier. My Sincere Thanks to him for all his hard work.

I have recently added information for Cline, Choat, Ragland, and Goodnight families to our Genealogy.
I continue to search for more information on Vauthier Family Name, and varients there of, and although I have been able to find a lot of information on the roots and Ancestory .coms, and even the French Genealogie .com, for Vauthier's, I have not establish absolute links, but did find Charles Vincent Vauthier, who roughly fits my Greatgrandfather's time frame. By the way other than France, there are quite a few Vauthier's in Switzerland too.
Best for Now,
Mike
Dad and Mom's Relatives' Birthplaces are the "Relative Path". It is all relative anyway when you think about it.
The Map below is LIVE / INTERACTIVE, Instructions are below in the Yellow Box, if needed.

I found it interesting that in some cases our acestors lived a few counties apart, not realising the ultimate merger of their families.
For Example, Moritz Klien (Cline) was born in Steinsel, Germany, which just north of the capital of the country of Luxembourg. This is located north and just over the border from France and its province of Lorraine. His son Johann Sabastien Klien was born in the town of Hirschland, in the province of Alsace, also in NE France, and is the neighboring province to Lorraine.
Now here is the Kicker. The province of Lorraine, France is where my Great Grandfather Charles Vincent Vauthier was born.
There are similair cases with our relatives in America. Check out Ira Octavis Hurt, who is my Great Great Grandfather, and close proximity he had with Bouchers in Missouri.
Have Fun,
Mike

Let me begin by thanking all those who have contributed to the Texas Tortilla Factory, with their stories, photos, information, etc.
Especially for the Genealogy Data provided by my oldest Brother Kenneth C. Vauthier. If not for all his hard work,
this Genealogy would not have been possible to place on the
Texas Tortilla Factory web site. I could never replace all the years of research and
digging through Court House Records, writing to relatives for information,
interviewing of countless relatives, and the compiling of information into
a meaningful whole.
Since its intial publishing Our Genealogy to the web other relatives have contributed to
