In Hope that it Entertains ...
From a talk on Zen by Alan Watts
"I suppose most of you have heard of Zen, but before going on to explain any details about it I want to make one thing absolutely clear. I am not a Zen Buddhist. I am not advocating Zen Buddhism, I’m not trying to convert anyone to it. I have nothing to sell. I am an entertainer. That is to say in the same sense that when you go to a concert and listen to someone play Mozart he has nothing to sell except for the sound of the music. He doesn’t want to convert you to anything. He doesn’t want you to join an organization in favor of Mozart’s music as opposed to Beethoven’s. And I approach you in the same spirit, as a musician with his piano or violinist with his violin, I just want you to enjoy a point of view which I enjoy."

It hit me when I read this, ...
that I just want you to enjoy the Texas Tortilla Factory site, which I enjoy keeping up with for you.

... and Welcome
Welcome to the Texas Tortilla Factory Web Site and all its Family information.
First off I would like to say, Thanks to all those who have contributed to the Texas Tortilla Factory, with their stories, photos, information, etc.
Texas Tortilla Factory Forum page has been removed. We had a lot of people looking, but no one dared to make comment. So the Items that were there have been moved else where on the site. Those looking for the "Charles Goodnight and Lonsome Dove" link to our family, it can be found in the "Poppadillo Blog", under the "Family Stories" Category. "Texas on the Brink" can be found on a New Website I have "Under Construction" called One Texican. (Click on either of the underline links will take you to the appropriate web page)
The Poppadillo Blog is full of Family Stories, my Growing Up in Dublin, Texas, and my Philosophy. All the topics are available for comments, just fill in the information in the boxes below the story labelled "Leave a Comment" , and then click the Submit Comment Button.
Also, if you would like to comment on the site, feel free to email me by clicking on the link below :
mvauthier@texastortillafactory.com .
It would be nice to hear your thoughts and your opinions on the Forum Items, Stories on the Blog, and ideas and/or comments on the site as well.
From the other side of the ether
Best Regards,
Mike
